Digital Health Strategist, HIMSS, Netherlands
Mariam Shokralla is a pharmacist by training, a digital health strategist, and a public health specialist currently based in the Netherlands. Mariam recently joined HIMSS as the Digital health strategist for EMEA region, responsible for the execution of Health Analytics projects and evaluating hospital EMRs. Mariam has an MPH and Master in leadership and governance in European public health. She has been working with different European organizations in France, Belgium, and Switzerland for WHO on national digital health strategies, Mhealth adoption, and policy and regulatory landscapes of digital health adoption. Before this, she worked for 12 years in medical device regulations in the Middle East. Mariam currently focuses on AI adoption, optimizing EMRs using AI, and implementing EHDS.
