Synthetic Data & Digital Twins in Health
This panel examines how synthetic data and digital twins are transitioning from research to real-world application in healthcare. Researchers from European projects and senior healthcare management will discuss how these technologies can enable innovation, support secondary use of health data and AI development, and improve clinical and operational decision-making, while addressing privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements.
By combining research insights with health system experience, the session aims to highlight practical adoption pathways and the conditions needed to deliver value within European health systems, in alignment with frameworks such as the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
