Ioannis Bertsatos

President of the Board at HellasCert; General Director at NB INSPECTION SERVICES

Ioannis Bertsatos was born in Athens in 1980 and is currently serving as General Director at NB Inspection Services, a family enterprise in the field of Testing, Inspection, Certification. He has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge in the UK, and he also holds a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the USA. Since his return to Greece, he became actively involved in the Quality Management and Assessment sector, becoming a member of the Hellenic Association of Accredited Certification and Inspection Bodies, which he has served as President of the Board since 2022. Since 2021, he is also Managing Director at the Institute for Sustainable Development (INBIAN), which is the official representative of the European Foundation for Quality Management in Greece.
