Elpida Kyriakou

Elpida Kyriakou is a Digital Health professional and Business Consultant at Netcompany SEE, specializing in the digital transformation of public healthcare systems and hospitals. She has served as CIO of “Evangelismos” General Hospital of Athens for more than 15 years and CIO of the 1st Health Region of Attica for 3 years, leading large-scale implementations of hospital information systems, electronic health records and cybersecurity as well as initiatives improving clinical workflows and operational efficiency. Between 2019 and 2024 she collaborated with the Greek Ministry of Health (General Secretariat for Health Services and General Secretariat for Strategic Planning). During this period, she participated in the national task force responsible for implementing the healthcare digital transformation programme funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF). She was also a member of the working group preparing national actions for Greece’s alignment with the European Health Data Space (EHDS). She holds a Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras and an MSc in Health Services Management from the National School of Public Health.
