Head of the IT Department, 3rd Regional Health Authority, Greece 

Dr. Stergiani Spyrou is the Head of the IT Department at the 3rd Regional Health Authority of Greece and a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Medical Physics and Digital Innovation of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her professional and research interests focus on Digital Health, Medical Informatics, Interoperability, Telemedicine, Health Policy, Healthcare Management, and the Evaluation of Health Services. She has extensive teaching experience through collaborations with the Hellenic Open University, the Open University of Cyprus, and the postgraduate program in Medical Informatics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as teaching roles at the Technological Institution of Thessaloniki, vocational institutes, and training centers. Dr. Spyrou has served as a scientific coordinator in training initiatives and as a project leader or key contributor in numerous European and national projects in the fields of Medical Informatics, Interoperability, the European Health Data Space (EHDS), and Telemedicine. Her academic and professional contributions are reflected in publications, conference presentations, and authored works in the area of health information systems and health policy. She has been honored by the Technical Chamber of Greece for her academic achievements and is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and the Hellenic Association of Computer and Informatics Scientists.
