Marios Neofytou

Director of the NCPeH, National eHealth Authority, Cyprus

Dr Marios Neofytou serves as a Senior Officer and Director of the National Contact Point for eHealth (NCPeH) at the National eHealth Authority (NeHA) of Cyprus. With over 26 years of expertise in medical informatics and eHealth interoperability—a core priority of the European Commission—his work spans health telematics, medical imaging, and signal processing. He has a distinguished track record in national and European research projects funded by the EC and the Research and Innovation Foundation of Cyprus. Since 2023, he has led the NCPeH, overseeing integrated solutions for Electronic Health Records (EHR) and the implementation of cross-border healthcare services based on IHE interoperability profiles.
