Early Detection & Personalised Cancer Care: Shifting Cancer Diagnosis & Treatment Upstream

This is the second of four consecutive roundtable sessions, running from 10:00 to 18:00 in Templars Hall, that bring together European and national research projects, public authorities, healthcare providers, and innovators to explore how digital health, data infrastructures, and advanced analytics are reshaping cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

Core theme: Moving from late diagnosis to proactive, risk-based, and AI-enabled early detection.

Key questions

  • How can AI, biomarkers, and risk models be integrated into national screening strategies?
  • How do we ensure equitable access to early detection across Member States?
  • What evidence is needed to scale pilots into routine care?
