i2Χ Greek Cluster & Ecosystem Engagement – Co-Creation Workshop
The European Health Data Space (EHDS) and the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF) are moving from policy and technical specifications into a phase of real-world implementation. At the same time, several EU-funded projects—including i2X, MyHealth@MyHands, xShare, Xt-EHR, and XiA—are developing complementary assets, ranging from HL7 FHIR Implementation Guides and testing environments to digital wallets, registries, and validation services.
However, implementation does not take place in Brussels alone. It unfolds within national health systems, shaped by local infrastructures, healthcare organisations, vendors, and strategic priorities. Greece is in a unique position: it already operates MyHealth@EU services, participates in multiple EHDS-related projects, and is developing new national initiatives such as cancer registries and digital public health services.
Athens Digital Health Week provides a rare opportunity to connect EU-level initiatives with the Greek national ecosystem, moving beyond presentations toward co-creation, alignment, and technical feasibility testing.
This Co-Creation Workshop of the Greek Cluster & Ecosystem Engagement will focus on discussing the results of the i2X needs assessment survey, identifying unmet needs, challenges, and opportunities, including the potential for innovative tools and the use of AI. The workshop will elaborate on Greek cluster use case proposals, linking them with national priorities for 2030, the digital agenda, and the early implementation of EEHRxF within the Greek ecosystem, in alignment with the outreach objectives of the i2X project.
