Interactive Workshop | Patient Digital Twins for Dementia and Frailty: Bridging Clinical Practice and AI Technology

This interactive workshop brings together clinical expertise and AI technology to explore how Patient Digital Twins (PDTs) can enhance dementia and frailty care. Through a structured dialogue between clinicians and technical researchers, participants will examine the same synthetic patient cases from both perspectives, comparing traditional clinical assessment approaches with AI-driven digital twin predictions.

The workshop uses ‘mentimeter’ for live polling and opinion gathering as interactive tools and employs a unique parallel examination methodology where clinicians demonstrate their battery tests and care planning processes, followed by PDT analysis of the same cases. This side-by-side comparison facilitates rich discussion about the complementary roles of clinical judgment and computational prediction in patient care.

The workshop targets clinicians, HPC Engineers, ML researchers, healthcare professionals, and AI specialists.
