Dr. Anastasia Rodina-Theocharaki (PhD) is a Biomedical Engineer with over a decade of expertise in research and development projects funded by the European Commission and local initiatives. As a postdoctoral researcher and project manager, she has successfully led and implemented numerous Erasmus+ projects, driving innovation and fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration to build capacity in biomedical and medical higher education across Europe and beyond. Her expertise focuses on digital pedagogies, medical and biomedical education innovation, future medical doctors’ soft skills development, and student-centered learning methodologies. She is highly skilled in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing cross-border partnerships, and facilitating knowledge exchange among academia, healthcare institutions, and industry stakeholders. Passionate about integrating emerging technologies in education and healthcare, she actively contributes to the modernization of medical curricula, digital transformation, and lifelong learning strategies. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in “Managing Digital Transformation in the Health Sector”, she is dedicated to deepening her knowledge of healthcare technological innovations, digital health strategies, and AI-driven solutions, aiming to enhance patient care, advance medical education, and bridge the gap between technology and healthcare professionals.
