CEO, PharmEcons Easy Access, UK and Greece
Dr. Magda Chatzikou is a health economist and CEO at PharmEcons Easy Access, a Health Technology Assessment consulting firm in UK and Greece. She holds a PhD from the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly, and holds 18-year experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the market access field. The recent landmarks in her career path are two: 2017, when she became adjunct faculty at Hellenic Open University at Healthcare Management Post Graduate Course, and 2020, when PharmEcons Easy Access participated in the Horizon 2020 funded program for the SMART Hospital with Artificial Intelligence Technologies (HOSMARTAI). The journey for the economic evaluation of AI technologies has just started.
She is among the very few health economists with experience in the economic evaluation of AI technologies globally and can be considered as the linking chain among the academic research and commercial excellence.
Magda is a lecturer at Open University of Greece (adjunct faculty) at the post graduate program of health care management and economics. She is an economist by education who became a health economist by working in the pharmaceutical industry for 18 years.
