Dr. Angelina Kouroubali has an MΑ in Medical Informatics from Columbia University, a PhD from Cambridge Judge Business School, and a BSc in Biology from Bard College (USA). She is a Fellow of the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics (FIAHSI) and a leading digital health expert at the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH).

She serves as Research Coordinator of the Hellenic Digital Health Cluster (HDHC), Innovation Manager of the European Digital Innovation Hub smartHEALTH-EDIH, Board Member of the Reference Site Collaborative Network (RSCN), FORTH representative to Global Health Connector, and co-founder of the spin-off YPSILON Care Tech. She coordinates the four-star Reference Site of the Region of Crete ecosystem for Active and Healthy Living. She has authored peer-reviewed publications, coordinates EU and National funded research and innovation projects, is a frequent international speaker, and has led award-winning teams bridging research, policy, and innovation.
