Dr Dimitra Dionysiou is a Senior Researcher at the I-SENSE Group, Institute of Communication and Computer Systems, National Technical University of Athens, Greece. She currently leads the Health Technologies Division of the I-SENSE Group. Her academic background is in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Bioinformatics, and Biomedical Technology. Her research focuses on digital technologies in the health domain, including mechanistic modelling, data-driven approaches, and decision support systems. She has coordinated and/or contributed to the formulation and implementation of numerous interdisciplinary research projects. More recently, her work has concentrated on harnessing digital technologies for disease risk stratification, early detection, and prevention.
