Georgios Saltaouras

Dietitian / Nutritionist, PhD, Research Associate, Harokopio University of Athens, Greece

Georgios Saltaouras is a dietitian / nutritionist with a research interest in clinical nutrition. His PhD studies focused on the exploration of dietary habits, nutritional awareness and patient experiences of people diagnosed with a pelvic cancer. He is currently a Research Associate at Harokopio University of Athens in a HORIZON project on management and prevention of childhood obesity (project BIO-STREAMS). He was an Academy Teaching Fellow at the International Hellenic University (Thessaloniki, Greece) for 4 years, where he taught modules such as Clinical Nutrition, Paediatrics Nutrition and Nutritional Counselling. He is an author of 13 peer-reviewed articles and 14 conference proceedings in national and international conferences. He is an Academy Fellow of the World Cancer Research Fund (since 2019) and a member of the Hellenic Dietetic Association (since 2017).
