Ioannis Gkouzionis is the Co-Founder and CEO of Aisthesis Medical, the company behind VIOSync—a hospital-grade, cloud-native clinical AI platform designed to detect patient deterioration and support earlier sepsis recognition through explainable predictions and personalised decision support. With a background in biomedical engineering and advanced academic training spanning research-led innovation, Ioannis has built Aisthesis at the intersection of clinical need, rigorous validation, and deployable healthcare technology. He works closely with hospital partners across the UK and Europe to translate real-world data into safer, faster clinical workflows, while progressing VIOSync through regulatory pathways in the UK, EU, and US. As a founder-operator, he leads strategy across product, clinical evidence, governance, and commercialisation—focused on making advanced AI genuinely usable at the bedside. Ioannis regularly engages clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders on how Digital Patient Twins and responsible AI can improve outcomes in acute and critical care.
