Melanie Fysentzou

Pharmacist-Nutritionist-European Affairs Co-ordinator for NeHA, Cyprus

Melanie Fysentzou is a Pharmacist at the National eHealth Authority (NeHA) of Cyprus and part of the National Contact Point (NCP) for eHealth team. She is also a qualified Nutritionist and member of the Cyprus Dietetic and Nutrition Association and the Pancyprian Pharmaceutical Association. She holds a Master of Pharmacy degree from Robert Gordon University, UK and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Central Michigan University, USA. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health from the European University of Cyprus. She has extensive professional background in community pharmacy, complemented by growing expertise in eHealth systems, electronic health records (EHR), interoperability, standards, medical coding, and e-learning. Active participant in EU-funded digital health projects supporting cross border healthcare and the European Health Data Space. She is also a Member Forum representative for SNOMED CT for Cyprus.
