Kalliopi Keramida, MSc, PhD, FESC, FHFA, FICOS, is a Consultant Cardiologist at the General Anti-Cancer Oncological Hospital “Agios Savvas” in Athens, Greece. She is certified in cardiovascular imaging, heart failure, and cardio-oncology. She currently serves as Chair of the Working Group on Cardio-Oncology of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology and is an active member of the ESC Cardio-Oncology Council and the HFA Committee Imaging and Biomarkers. Her clinical and research interests focus on the prevention, early detection, and management of cancer therapy-related cardiotoxicity, with particular emphasis on women with breast cancer, frailty assessment, and the long-term cardiovascular surveillance of cancer survivors. She has a strong interest in frailty and healthy ageing, exploring how cardiovascular vulnerability, multimorbidity, and functional decline intersect in older and oncological populations. Dr Keramida is actively engaged in digital health innovation, including the application of artificial intelligence, digital biomarkers, advanced imaging analytics, and remote monitoring technologies to improve risk stratification, early detection of cardiotoxicity, and personalized care pathways. Her work aligns with person-centred, data-driven approaches to prevention and care, aiming to integrate clinical, technological, and societal dimensions in the management of cardiology and cardio-oncology patients, particularly in the context of ageing and frailty.
