Ioanna Salagianni

General Director of Electronic Health, IDIKA SA, Greece

Since 24/2/2025, Ioanna Salagianni is the General Director of e-Health at IDIKA SA, the e-Government Center for Health and Social Security Single Member Société Anonyme in Greece. She is responsible for the coordination of development, operation, maintenance and support of the applications of the e-Health Sector at national and cross-border level. Since 01/01/2024, she has been the Director of the Primary Health Care Sector Systems of the General Directorate of e-Health. During 2019-2023, she was the Director of the Operations and Applications Support Directorate, coordinating the development, operation and support of information systems in all sectors that IDIKA operates (Health, Social Security and Welfare). She has been working at IDIKA SA since 1987, initially as a member of information systems development teams and later as project manager for Information Systems Analysis and Design. Since 2011, she has been working in positions of responsibility at IDIKA. She has experience in the analysis, design and implementation of big, complex and critical information systems for Registries, Insurance, Benefits, Pensions, Financial Management of Consolidated Insurance Institutions, as project manager and coordinator. She is a graduate of the Mathematics Department of the School of Sciences of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a Master’s Degree in Information Systems. She speaks Greek and English.
